I originally wrote this with the help of AI, and it sounded great and also not at all like me. So I’m rewriting this the old school way. I’ve been drawing my whole life, but for years, I was ignoring the call to paint. Every excuse in the book stopped me, from comparison, to busyness, to lack of reason. Finally, at the age of 36, I felt like God showed me a style of painting that felt accessible and exciting to me. I was drawn to the action painters of the past, like Jackson Pollock, Joan Mitchell, and Willem de Kooning. Since then, I’ve painted and felt so alive and whole. I’m surprised I haven’t gotten sick of it, but only continued to loved it more and more. So here is my website showcasing a sampling of my art.
